Reading-Spelling-Writing

English is a very structured language.

We teach reading using a comprehensive phonics system designed to clearly explain spelling and reading using modern usage. Having used this system in both classroom and individual settings for many years, we have seen every one of our students successfully learn how to read using our proven method.

Most students, and many educators, do not realize that english is a phonetic based, structured language, and mistakenly try to learn and teach reading using a sight or an altered sight/phonetic reading method. Unfortunately, the average person can only retain about 2000 sight words. While these words are being learned, it appears that the student is learning how to read. However, once the student reaches his word saturation point, the learning suddenly stops, and teachers and parents alike are stumped as to why the once properly performing student no longer can perform in class. This saturation point can happen at any time from the onset of the learning process, but it normally will happen by the time the student reaches the fourth grade. Students only progress from this point if they somehow have figured out some of the phonetic rules on their own.

The exciting news is that once a student is properly taught these rules and methods in a structured manner, he quickly learns how to read, spell, and write. This ability to properly read carries on to all other areas of study, and the student's test scores will rise, in general, to eventually range in the 86th to 98th percentile.

We do not speak of this lack of correct teaching lightly. Because of this failure caused by our many "Excellence in Education" programs, we have failed our childern and consequently placed them on IEP's (Individualized Educational Programs), labeling them as learning disabled (which is rarely the case), and dooming them to a long life of "remedial" education programs. The sad truth is that the student is rarely learning disabled or in need of a "remedial" course of instruction, but instead just needs to learn the proper rules to use the English language.

This is what we teach. It's as old as the English language itself, it works, and it fixes the problems.

This program has been used successfully with every student that we have trained. There is improvement every time.
